Dr. Stephen deWit

Dr. Stephen de Wit is a highly sought after speaker, coach and author. From a young age Stephen has been passionate about sex. Following several pivotal events in his youth, Stephen made it his mission for all people to live a sexually empowered life and have relationships that work. To that end, Stephen has worked in and with a wide variety of environments and audiences sharing his message of normalization, destigmatizaion and sexual empowerment.

Stephen has been featured internationally and nationally including ShowTime, CBC, CTV, CityTV, Breakfast Television, The Marilyn Denis Show, Etalk, Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, and Maxim. Stephen is currently the resident sexologist at NewTalk1010 and you can hear him every Sunday night at 10:40pm.

Stephen has pursued an academic line of training and worked with some of the foremost experts in the field of Human Sexuality. Despite the number of degrees and certifications, Stephen strives to reduce the barriers, real or perceived, by sharing personal stories of struggle and triumph, leaving audiences laughing, learning and wanting more.

Currently Stephen splits his time between a successful private practice helping couples and singles discover and create the sex life they have always wanted, media appearances, speaking engagements and working with two of Toronto’s most respected Sexual Health Clinics.

"Stephen made this topic fun, hands on, and interactive. If any students had harboured any fears or concerns they were made to feel comfortable enough to address them. I believe that every student in that room was able to take something home from Stephen's seminar, both academically and personally."

“What a refreshing approach to a challenging topic, and one that should be shared with all! You presented in a manner that was professional, comfortable and creative, while still getting your message across to the entire audience. That’s a hard combination to achieve, but you did it with style and ease. You would be a huge asset to ANY group who is looking for an amazing, one-of-a-kind speaker. Your ability to take the topic of sex and speak in a professional, fun and engaging way is a true gift!”
