Tiresias was a mythological prophet of the ancient Greeks who was given an opportunity to live on earth as both a man and a woman. One day, Zeus and Hera were having a marital fight about whether men or women experienced greater sexual pleasure. Zeus thought it was women and Hera thought that it was men. Finally, the couple agreed to consult Tiresias, the only person who really knew the difference. The verdict? Tiresias said that it was more pleasurable to be a woman. Hera was not happy about losing the fight and put out Tiresias’ eyes—for seeing much to wisely?
