Marital Sexual Satisfaction–Part #2 (Hitched on-line magazine)

Question

If a couple is having some kind of discourse within their relationship do to reasons other than intercourse, what are some ways a couple can find marital satisfaction outside of sex?

Dr.Trina’s Response:

Long term couples tend to lose:

(1) Non-sexual touch which doesn’t include hugging, cuddling—it’s more the pragmatic hand-holding, bum squeezing, shoulder rubbing type of touch.

(2) A sense of interest in their partner. Think of a newby relationship where everything about the partner was not only perfect, it was amazingly interesting. You hang on that every person’s word.

They are two things that are non-sexual in nature and are quintessential for a couple to want to have sex with one another.  Two easy things for couples to incorporate is: daily non-sexual touch and getting back to being interested in your partner.
