The last day of the holiday is always the worst. It was very depressing to be leaving paradise for snow and work. We made the best of our last morning in phoenix. Golf cart rides, walks, and a last bit of time with my parents.

The quality time ended as we headed to the airport. The problem arose when my Dad drove us to PHX. Even though my father is as English speaking as they come, he is unable to understand his GPS which I think speaks impeccable English. After as number of recalculations due to wrong turns we made it to the airport only a little later than I wanted.

Our flight was thankfully uneventful. I always dread the possibility of being the “loud” family on the plane, and this time we made the cut. Our kids were not listening at all and they were driving each other nuts! Melanie deals with this much better than I do. I swear my blood pressure musts have been a little high during the flight because I felt very stressed when we got in to Calgary.

We got the kids fed and to bed as quick as we could when we got home, did a little bit of blogging and headed to the bedroom. Melanie tried on a little something we ordered from Victorias Secret and it so didn’t fit her. We are so done with ordering lingerie because it never fits. We have a great lingerie store at our favorite adult store in Calgary so we will just go there from now on.
